Here is Violet's first birthday party. It was on the same day of the
windstorm and the electricity went out earlier in the day.

So we celebrated in the dark.

Violet is a little daredevil. Here she is
climbing all of the way up a flight of stairs.

This is sunset on Tuesday night.And this is sunset Wednesday night.

Tuesday we ate at Margaritaville for lunch.
It was pretty wild. Staff walking around on stilts
and making crazy balloon hats. I had fish tacos,
Alex had crab salad and Jim had the Cheeseburger
In Paradise. It is in this new shopping center called
Pier Point. It was a neat center

Here's a view of the coastal seas near Panama City beach; the shallower waters were filled with seaweed and light debris. As we swam further out, the swells were tossing us to and fro.

Earlier, as the sun was just settling into its throne among the clouds, we saw dolphins swimming and frolicking in the waves, as there few people cluttering up the brackish waters.

It is a 2008 VW Beetle.
And this is first time that
Jim has owned a
"new" new car.

This is Violet's new car.
She seems to be really
enjoying her new ride.

This is the most bizarre grave
that I have seen. It is Jesus swinging
a little girl. It is the grave of
a four year old girl.
Which is sad, but
this is just
strange.
